We reduce the creation of waste by the adoption of improved operating practices and by the recycling of materials whenever practical (e.g. using recycled paper, printing not more than 10 % of the e-mails we receive or send, print on both sides of the paper) We ensure that all waste and effluent is disposed of in a safe and responsible manner and we separate waste into paper, metal, plastic and bio-waste. We offset carbon by reducing emissions: some of our team members walk to the office, the others use public transportation and we have plants in the office producing oxygen. Environmental audit of office premises: we recently renovated heating system and windows to avoid waste of energy, we changed light bulbs to energy-saving lamps, we use bio-degradable cleaning products. We work according to all environmental Austrian laws – Austria signed the Kyoto protocol and is one of the frontrunners in strict environmental laws in Europe. We are in close contact with the Umweltbundesamt Austria that is the expert authority of the federal government in Austria for environmental protection and environmental control New staff is trained when they start working for Invent.
